OUR TALENT'S VOICES
ALEC LEACH
I’ve always turned to Wikipedia as the starting point in my research — especially when it's something to do with climate or politics. Free access to knowledge and information is essential if we want to understand the bigger picture and how our lives are shaped by things we don't see.
TORU TSUI
In a world that feels increasingly fragmented, having access to reliable and free information is more important than ever. As an activist, I see this as invaluable - and that’s why I’m supporting this campaign.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
With this exclusive collaboration between ARMEDANGELS and the Wikimedia Foundation, we bring sustainable fashion and open access to free knowledge together with a shared mission. The partnership reflects ARMEDANGELS' commitment to a more conscious and responsible future, putting our shared values and beliefs at the forefront.
The capsule collection will be made from up to 100% recycled cotton and will embody the shared belief that in order for change to happen there also needs to be an open access to information and knowledge.
Yes – the styles are made from 100% recycled material, sourced from pre-consumer waste and, in some cases, also from post-consumer waste. No new fibers (virgin cotton) are used.
Thanks to RCO100® technology, recycled fibers can be produced with a length of up to 25 mm – comparable to new cotton. This disproves the myth that recycled fibers can only be used in small amounts: this collection proves that 100% recycled can also mean 100% premium quality.
12% of sales proceeds will be donated to the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit that operates the technical infrastructure behind Wikipedia, supports its volunteer communities, and advocates for open access to free knowledge worldwide. In addition to Wikipedia, the Foundation supports 12 other free knowledge projects, such as key Wikipedia resources Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata.
The "limited" nature of the products indicates that we've produced only a small quantity of items for each category. Once these products sell out, they will not be restocked.
