A Message from Martin

The last two weeks have been a moment of reflection for us as a company. We've spent that time asking ourselves difficult questions: 

What went wrong?
Where did we fall short?
And what do we need to do better?

Almost 20 years ago, ARMEDANGELS was founded to change the fashion industry. Since then, we've tried to make decisions based on our values every single day.

That commitment remains unchanged. But if you hold an industry accountable to higher standards, you must also be willing to be held accountable yourself. Looking back, it is clear that while we have invested enormous energy into building products, a brand and a business, we have failed in living our values internally as consistently as our own standards require. As a result, people have been disappointed.

For that, we are sorry.
Our mission remains the same. We will continue working towards positive change in our industry and beyond. At the same time, we know that values only matter if they are reflected not only in what a company says, but in how people experience it every day.

Respect, accountability and trust must be the foundation of how we work together. Leadership must be built on these values. And that responsibility starts with us.
