Washing clothes less is not unhygenic; it relieves both the laundry basket and your wallet.

Unless it is an emergency, wait until you have enough to fill a full machine, but also do not overload the washing machine. 

To wash clothes correctly and in the best possible way, always follow the care symbols and instructions on the care label sewn into the side of the garment.

For most textiles a lower temperature of 30°C (cold) gets the job done. Underwear and bed linen are of course an exception.

Choose a more environmentally friendly laundry detergent and don’t use too much of it. Overdosing won’t have any effect on making your clothes cleaner but instead pollutes the environment more.

Choose a lower spinning rate. High spinning rates can be a strain on the fibers. Check the care label here to see whether gentle or even hand washing programs are indicated.

Skipping the dryer is the best choice for your clothes and our environment- Make sure to air-dry your laundry immediately and don’t leave wet clothes in the machine since they will wrinkle and may eventually cause mould and mildew.

We recommend steaming over ironing, as it's gentler to the fabric fibres than the pressure exerted with an iron.

• Before drying, give garments a gentle stretch or shake when they come out of the wash to get them back into shape.

• do not tumble dry nor bleach

• Nach dem Waschen ist es zu empfehlen das Kleidungsstück vorsichtig in die ursprüngliche Form zurückzuziehen, besonders in der Länge.
