Why this style makes a difference

With DetoxDenim, we took on the challenge of detoxing every step in the production of a pair of jeans. It starts with organic cotton grown without synthetic pesticides, continues with dyeing and washing processes free from harmful chemicals, and ends with bleaching that avoids toxic chlorine.
SaXcell® is a lyocell fiber made from 30% recycled cotton waste and 70% FSC-certified wood pulp. Thanks to an innovative recycling technology, cotton waste is transformed into high-quality fibers. The recycled materials are RCS-certified, and production takes place in India. SaXcell closes a crucial gap in textile waste recycling and holds strong future potential for more sustainable textile production.
Long-term studies from organic farms have shown that organic cotton farming produces 18% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than conventional systems. Because organic agriculture focuses on soil health and biodiversity, the soils are generally healthier and more resilient to climate change. Source: Textile Exchange, 2021
