Our recycled material

Fiber production has almost doubled in the last 20 years.* The minority of the fibers used worldwide come from recycled pre- or post-consumer textiles. We want to change that! We extend the life of our spinning waste and give used textiles a new purpose. They go back into the cycle and used as a resource for new products. Recycled materials are a great sustainable alternative for virgin fibers: they save water, energy, fossil fuels and reduce textile waste.

We give you an insight into the recycled fibers that are used in our products:

Recycled Cotton

Our recycled cotton is traceable to the recycler and often from our own production waste. We blend the recycled cotton with new cotton or other alternative options to guarantee a high quality of our garments.

Recycled Polyamide

The recycled polyamide we use is mostly from post-industrial spinning waste or post-consumer textile waste. We only use it for performance reasons as in our Activewear and as a fiber blend to increase the durability of our products.

Recycled Polyester

Recycled polyester can be made from recycled plastic bottles or textile waste. Here as well, we utilize it just as a fiber blend to increase the endurance of our products.

Recycling is also important in the textile industry, but often confusing. We want to change that. Labels such as the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) are a transparent guideline.

Our ACTIVEWEAR is our first GRS certified  (CU1085700) collection. Thanks to the Standard, you can be sure that the recycled content is safe and that the origin can be traced from the recycler to the final product. Additionally, GRS sites have to meet strict social and environmental requirements. Harmful chemicals are not permitted to be used.
